About peptides
A brief guide to peptides, product storage, and concentration calculations. It explains key terms but does not replace the instructions for a specific product.
What are peptides?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids. Different peptides have different structures and properties, so the description of one product cannot be applied to another, nor can its effects be inferred from its name alone.
How to store products
Follow the manufacturer’s stated temperature, protection from light and moisture, and expiration date. Storage conditions may differ between a sealed product and one prepared for use. If the packaging is damaged or storage conditions are unknown, do not use the product until you have clarified them.
How concentration and volume are calculated
For a liquid formulation, concentration is calculated by dividing the amount of substance by the volume of solution. The required volume can only be calculated from a dose set by a doctor: divide the dose by the concentration, using the same units. This calculation does not determine which dose is appropriate for an individual.
Why you should consult a doctor
A doctor assesses the intended use, your health, allergies, other medications, and potential risks. It is especially important to consult a doctor if you have chronic conditions, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and before combining several products.
